Staff - Martha Hidalgo (Consultancy Manager)

Martha graduated from the Iberoamericana University, Mexico City, as a Chemical Engineer. From 1997 to 2001 she worked for DuPont in the business unit of High Performance Coatings. There she worked in Business Resource Planning, Process Engineering and later as Product Specialist. During this time she obtained a diploma in Coatings Technology form the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico. She later obtained a Scholarship from CONACYT (National Council for Science and Technology) to study an MSc in Biobased Materials at the University of Applied Science – Fachhochschule Reutlingen, Germany. After graduating she joined CREST in 2004 as Consultant Scientist. Martha is currently the CREST Consultancy and Marketing Manager. She oversees running of specific Innovation Partnership programmes within CREST and consultancy projects. She also carries out electron microscopy and manages activities carried out in CREST’s dedicated laboratory for Accelerated Weathering.
