Staff - Brendan Duffy (Senior R&D Manager)

Brendan Duffy joined CREST as a Senior Researcher in September 2004, after lecturing at the Institute of Technology Tallaght Dublin (ITTD) for two years. He is currently working as the R & D Manager for the Hygiene and Corrosion Control Group, and his current research involves the use of sol-gel materials for a variety of applications. He currently supervises two postgraduate students, and is a collaborator with two others. He has secured funding for two projects whose partners include the National Centre for Sensor Research (where he obtained his PhD), Prof. John Kelly (TCD), and the Centre for Pharmaceutical Research & Development (CPRD) in ITTD.
