Staff - Hugh Hayden (Research Scientist)

Dr Hugh Hayden joined CREST in August 2005, having obtained his PhD in Materials Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland in 2004. Hugh’s previous research was on the material science applications of nitrogen rich compounds, focusing on surface modification on both nanotubes and silicon. He has previously completed a postdoctoral research project in TCD patenting the development of nano-composite polymers. Hugh is currently undertaking an MBA from Dublin City University.

In CREST Hugh has worked on the development of novel thin films such as;
