Staff - Michael Whelan (Research Scientist)

Michael joined the CREST team in January 2007 having previously worked as a laboratory technician in a civil engineering testing and consultancy facility. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Mathematics and Experimental Physics, obtained from the National University of Ireland Maynooth in 2006. Michael is currently working on coatings for corrosion and chemical resistance of anodised aluminium. At the same time he is pursuing a Masters in Computer aided Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in Dublin City University.
